Severe emergencies need immediate attention by our staff and probably have to be treated right away. Children are very physically active and can be physical in sports that they play, therefore a dental emergency is bound to happen. Knocked-out Tooth: Getting a tooth abruptly knocked out is very painful. Luckily, in some cases, the tooth can be placed back into the socket to heal. If this happens to your child contact us right away.
Broken Tooth: A tooth can break in many different ways, sometimes breaking at the root or the crown breaking in half. Either way, seeing our dentist right away is in the best interest of the safety and health of your child and their tooth.

Toothache: A toothache is a good indication that there might be some accumulated decay. Only a dental professional like Dr. Mia can diagnose a toothache.
Swollen or Bleeding Gums: Gum disease is common and can be taken care of if caught and treated quickly.
